Putting a Second-Hand Spin on Things
Everyone loves the old-school sounds of vinyl, us included! As our record collection grew and our gorgeous turntable was just begging to be brought over to our bach in Martinborough, we stumbled across the issue of how to display it. So, when our vintage loving daughter sent us a picture of a mid-century record cabinet at Add+Vintage on Marion Street, I hopped in the car and purchased it immediately! It was exactly what we’d been searching for and finally gives our record player a spot to sit proudly (and actually get used)!
With our vintage vinyl set-up finally resolved, and already bringing us so much joy, we felt it was the perfect excuse to lean into the true vintage vibe and pop into a couple of Wellington’s favourite second-hand record stores.
James and I had a good hunt around, and with very different music tastes, it was interesting to see what we both picked out.
