Our Hospitality Stars!

It’s pretty incredible knowing that we now live and work in the same neighbourhood as a Michelin Star restaurant! Hearing the fantastic news that Ortega Fish Shack, Jano Bistro and Logan Brown here in little old Welly were awarded a Michelin Star made me feel very warm and fuzzy for our hardworking and resilient hospitality scene. It’s not been an easy time for local businesses in the capital over the past few years, so for their hard work to be recognised in this way is a huge moment for Wellington!

With our 100th weekly Bulletin celebration on the horizon as the Michelin Star news came out, we felt that a giveaway focusing on these three restaurants aligned perfectly with our mission to support local and share that love with our readers and audience.

So, here we are at Bulletin #100 and with our biggest giveaway prize to date, a dining experience worth $1,000, split evenly between Ortega, Logan Brown and Jano Bistro! To enter simply subscribe to our weekly Bulletin here and if you’re already subscribed, simply sit back and cross your fingers because you’re automatically in the draw. Check out the full Ts&Cs here.

To go alongside this epic giveaway, we wanted to dedicate the Journal post this week to these three wonderful restaurants. Each of them offer completely different culinary experiences and we are so proud to have them here in our city!
